Secondary Lechwe Football

(January 14, 2014 Saturday)

This was our first sports trip of the term. Both the boys and girls team went. The team was picked by the Groves. We had some new students on the team. One of them didn’t know how to play the game. For a girl that had never played football, she did really well. We were evenly matched against Lechwe. It was a tough game, and people played hard. We really enjoyed the game and were on good terms with the Lechwe girls at the end of the game. There was good sportsmanship during and after the match. The score was 0-0. Some of the girls that went aren’t on the team now, so I think they enjoyed and appreciated having that opportunity to go out and play. It might even be an incentive for them to join the team. Thank you to all the girls that went on the trip.

Football Against Life Song

We started the game off well but did not have most of the possession until the end of the first half. Life Song scored first then Amano equalized towards the end of the first half. At half time, scores were level at 1-1.

At the start of the second half Life song had most of the possession and they scored four more goals. Then towards the end of the second half we again stared to have possession and scored two more goals, one of ours was from a penalty. In the End the scores were 5-3 to Life Song. This was first game where we tried out the formation for 4-3-3.
