Once all the
Boarding students had gone home at the end of last term, Amano was a very quiet
place to be … until… about 200 young people from 9 AWANA groups in and around
Chingola descended for their annual camp.
This year’s theme was Building
Relationship with God. Teaching sessions were held in the big hall, they slept
in the classrooms and enjoyed the wonderful ‘bush’ around the site. We even had
a campfire on the rock in the middle of the field and were told this was the
first ever campfire at any AWANA camp in Zambia!
